Berean Standard Bible
Paul, an apostle ,
(
not of
men ,
neither
by man, but by Jesus Christ ,
and God the Father, who raised him from the dead ;)
Paul, an apostle —sent
not from
men nor
by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead —
And all the brethren
which
are
with me, unto
the churches of Galatia:
and all the brothers
with me, To
the churches of Galatia:
Grace be
to
you
and peace from God the
Father ,
and from
our
Lord Jesus Christ,
Grace and peace to
you
from God our
Father and the
Lord Jesus Christ,
Who gave himself for our sins ,
that
he
might
deliver
us from this
present evil world
, according to the will of God and our
Father :
who gave Himself for our sins to
rescue
us from the
present evil age
, according to the will of our
God and Father ,
To whom be glory for
ever
and ever. Amen.
to whom be glory forever
and ever. Amen.
I marvel
that
ye
are so
soon
removed
from
him
that
called you into
the grace of Christ unto
another
gospel :
I am
amazed
how
quickly
you
are deserting
the
One
who
called you by
the grace of Christ and
are
turning
to
a
different
gospel —
Which is not another;
but
there
be
some that
trouble
you ,
and would
pervert
the gospel of Christ.
which is not even
a
gospel.
Evidently
some people
are
troubling
you and trying
to
distort
the gospel of Christ.
But though
we ,
or an angel from heaven ,
preach any
other
gospel unto
you
than
that
which
we have
preached unto
you, let him be accursed.
But even
if
we or an angel from heaven should
preach a
gospel contrary
to
the
one
we preached to
you, let him be under
a
curse!
As we said before, so say
I
now again ,
if any
man
preach
any
other
gospel unto
you than
that
ye
have
received, let him be accursed.
As we have
said before, so now I
say
again :
If anyone
is
preaching
to
you
a
gospel contrary
to
the
one
you received, let him be under
a
curse!
For
do
I now persuade
men, or God? or do
I seek
to please men? for
if I yet
pleased
men, I should
not be the
servant of Christ.
Am
I now seeking
the
approval
of
men, or of
God? Or am
I striving
to please men? If I were
still
trying
to
please
men, I would
not be a
servant of Christ.
But
I certify you, brethren
, that the gospel which
was
preached of
me
is
not after
man.
For
I certify to
you, brothers
, that the gospel I
preached was
not devised
by
man.
For
I neither
received
it of
man, neither
was I taught it, but
by the
revelation of
Jesus Christ.
I did
not
receive
it from
any
man, nor
was I taught it ;
rather
, I
received
it
by revelation from
Jesus Christ.
For ye
have heard of my conversation
in
time
past
in the
Jews'
religion
, how that
beyond
measure
I persecuted the church of God ,
and wasted
it :
For you
have heard of my former
way
of
life
in Judaism
, how severely
I persecuted the church of God and tried
to
destroy
it .
And
profited
in the
Jews'
religion
above
many my equals
in
mine
own
nation,
being
more
exceedingly
zealous of
the traditions of my fathers.
I
was
advancing
in Judaism
beyond
many of
my contemporaries
and
was
extremely
zealous for
the traditions of my fathers.
But when it
pleased
God, who separated
me from my mother's
womb ,
and called me by his grace,
But when God, who set
me apart
from my mother’s
womb and called me by His grace, was
pleased
To reveal his Son in me ,
that I might preach him among the heathen;
immediately
I conferred
not with flesh and blood :
to reveal His Son in me so
that I might preach Him among the Gentiles,
I did
not rush
to
consult
with flesh and blood ,
Neither
went
I up to Jerusalem to them
which
were
apostles before me ;
but I went into Arabia ,
and returned again
unto
Damascus.
nor
did
I go
up to Jerusalem to the
apostles who
came
before me ,
but I went into Arabia and later
returned to
Damascus.
Then
after three years I went
up to Jerusalem to see
Peter
, and abode
with him fifteen days.
Only
after three years did
I go
up to Jerusalem to confer
with
Cephas
, and I
stayed
with him fifteen days.
But other
of the apostles saw
I
none,
save
James the Lord's
brother.
But I
saw
none
of the other
apostles except
James ,
the Lord’s
brother.
Now
the
things
which
I write
unto
you ,
behold,
before God ,
I lie not
.
I assure
you before God that
what
I am
writing
to
you
is
no
lie.
Afterwards
I came
into
the regions of Syria and Cilicia ;
Later
I went
to
the regions of Syria and Cilicia .
And
was unknown by
face
unto
the churches of Judaea
which
were
in Christ :
I
was personally
unknown ,
however,
to
the churches of Judea
that
are
in Christ .
But
they had
heard
only ,
That
he
which
persecuted us in
times
past
now preacheth
the faith which
once
he destroyed
.
They only heard
the
account:
“The
man
who
formerly
persecuted us is
now preaching
the faith he once
tried
to
destroy
. ”
And they glorified God in
me.
And they glorified God because
of
me.
