King James Version
Bezalel
constructed
the altar of burnt offering from
acacia
wood .
It
was
square,
five cubits long
, five cubits wide,
and three cubits high
.
And
he
made
the altar of burnt offering of
shittim
wood :
five cubits was
the
length
thereof
, and
five cubits the
breadth
thereof;
it
was
foursquare;
and three cubits the
height
thereof
.
He made a
horn
at
each
of
its
four corners ,
so
that
the horns and
altar
were of one
piece,
and he overlaid the
altar
with bronze
.
And
he made the
horns
thereof
on
the
four corners of
it;
the horns thereof
were of the
same:
and he overlaid it
with brass
.
He made all the altar’s
utensils
of bronze—its
pots, shovels, sprinkling
bowls
, meat
forks
, and firepans.
And
he made all the vessels
of the
altar,
the
pots, and
the
shovels, and
the
basins
, and
the
fleshhooks
, and the
firepans :
all
the
vessels
thereof
made
he
of
brass
.
He made a
grate
of
bronze
mesh
for the altar under its
ledge,
halfway
up
from
the bottom
.
And
he made for the altar a
brazen
grate
of
network
under the compass
thereof
beneath
unto
the
midst
of
it
.
At
the four corners
of the bronze
grate he
cast
four
rings
as
holders
for the poles
.
And
he
cast
four
rings
for
the four ends
of the grate of
brass,
to
be
places
for the staves
.
And he made the poles
of acacia
wood and overlaid them with bronze
.
And he made the staves
of shittim
wood ,
and overlaid them with brass
.
Then
he inserted
the poles
into the rings on the sides of the altar for
carrying
it .
He made the altar with boards so
that
it
was
hollow
.
And
he put
the staves
into the rings on the sides of the altar ,
to
bear
it withal;
he made the altar hollow
with boards.
Next
he made the bronze
basin
and its
stand
from
the mirrors
of the women who
served
at the entrance
to
the Tent
of Meeting
.
And
he made the laver
of
brass,
and the foot
of it
of
brass,
of
the lookingglasses
of
the
women assembling,
which
assembled
at the door
of
the tabernacle
of the
congregation
.
Then
he constructed
the courtyard.
The south side of the courtyard
was
a
hundred
cubits
long
and
had
curtains
of finely
spun
linen,
And
he made
the court:
on
the south side southward
the
hangings
of the court
were
of fine
twined
linen, an
hundred
cubits:
with
twenty
posts
and
twenty bronze
bases
, and with
silver
hooks and
bands
on
the posts
.
Their
pillars
were
twenty, and their
brazen
sockets
twenty;
the
hooks of
the pillars
and
their
fillets
were
of
silver
.
The north side was
also
a
hundred cubits long
, with
twenty posts
and twenty bronze
bases.
The hooks and
bands
of the posts
were
silver.
And
for
the north side the
hangings
were
an
hundred cubits, their
pillars
were
twenty ,
and their
sockets
of
brass
twenty ;
the hooks of the pillars
and
their
fillets
of
silver.
The west side was
fifty cubits long
and
had
curtains
, with
ten posts
and ten bases.
The hooks and
bands
of the posts
were
silver.
And
for
the west side were
hangings
of
fifty cubits, their
pillars
ten ,
and their
sockets
ten ;
the hooks of the pillars
and
their
fillets
of
silver.
And the east side ,
toward
the
sunrise,
was
also
fifty cubits long
.
And for
the east side eastward
fifty cubits.
The curtains
on
one side of the entrance
were fifteen cubits long,
with
three posts
and three bases
.
The hangings
of
the
one side of the gate
were fifteen cubits ;
their
pillars
three ,
and their
sockets
three.
And the
curtains
on
the other side were also
fifteen cubits long,
with
three posts
and three bases
as
well
.
And for
the other side of
the
court
gate,
on
this
hand
and
that
hand,
were hangings
of
fifteen cubits ;
their
pillars
three ,
and their
sockets
three.
All the curtains
around
the courtyard
were made
of finely
spun
linen.
All the hangings
of
the court
round
about
were of fine
twined
linen.
The bases
for the posts
were bronze,
the hooks and bands
were
silver ,
and the plating
for
the
tops
of the
posts
was
silver .
So
all the posts
of the courtyard
were banded
with silver.
And
the sockets
for the pillars
were of
brass;
the hooks of
the
pillars
and their
fillets
of
silver ;
and the overlaying
of their
chapiters
of
silver ;
and
all the pillars
of the court
were filleted
with silver.
The curtain
for the entrance
to
the courtyard
was embroidered
with
blue, purple, and scarlet yarn
, and finely
spun
linen .
It
was
twenty cubits long
and
, like
the curtains
of
the courtyard,
five cubits high
,
And
the hanging
for the gate
of
the court
was needlework,
of
blue, and
purple, and scarlet, and fine
twined
linen :
and
twenty cubits was
the
length
, and
the height
in
the breadth
was
five cubits, answerable
to
the
hangings
of
the
court.
with
four posts
and four bronze
bases.
Their hooks were
silver, as
well
as
the
bands
and the plating
of their tops
.
And
their
pillars
were
four ,
and their
sockets
of
brass
four ;
their hooks of
silver, and the overlaying
of their chapiters
and
their
fillets
of
silver
.
All the tent
pegs
for
the tabernacle and for
the surrounding
courtyard
were bronze
.
And
all the pins
of
the tabernacle ,
and of
the court
round
about,
were of
brass
.
This is the inventory
for
the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the
Testimony, as recorded
at
Moses ’
command
by
the Levites under
the direction
of Ithamar son of
Aaron the priest.
This is the sum
of
the tabernacle, even
of
the tabernacle of testimony, as it
was
counted,
according
to
the
commandment
of
Moses ,
for
the service
of
the
Levites ,
by
the hand
of Ithamar ,
son to
Aaron the priest.
Bezalel
son of
Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made everything
that the LORD had
commanded Moses.
And
Bezaleel
the
son Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all
that the LORD commanded Moses.
With him was Oholiab
son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, an engraver, designer
, and embroiderer in blue, purple, and scarlet yarn
and fine linen.
And
with him was Aholiab,
son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, an engraver, and
a
cunning
workman
, and an
embroiderer in blue, and
in
purple, and in
scarlet ,
and fine linen.
All the gold from
the
wave
offering
used
for the work on
the sanctuary
totaled
29
talents and 730
shekels, according
to
the sanctuary
shekel.
All the gold that
was
occupied
for the work in
all
the work
of
the
holy
place,
even
the
gold
of
the
offering,
was
twenty
and
nine
talents ,
and seven
hundred
and
thirty
shekels, after
the shekel of
the
sanctuary
.
The silver from
those
numbered among
the congregation totaled
100
talents and
1
, 775
shekels, according
to
the sanctuary
shekel —
And
the silver of
them
that
were
numbered of
the congregation was
an
hundred
talents, and
a
thousand
seven
hundred
and
threescore
and
fifteen
shekels, after
the shekel of
the
sanctuary:
a beka
per
person
, that is, half a shekel, according
to
the sanctuary
shekel ,
from
everyone
twenty
years
of age
or
older
who
had
crossed
over
to be numbered, a
total
of
603
, 550
men.
A bekah
for
every
man
, that is, half a shekel, after
the shekel of the
sanctuary,
for
every
one
that
went
to be numbered, from
twenty
years
old
and
upward
, for
six
hundred
thousand
and
three
thousand
and
five
hundred
and
fifty
men.
The hundred talents of silver were used
to
cast the bases
of the sanctuary and the bases
of the veil—100
bases
from
the 100
talents, one
talent per
base
.
And
of
the hundred talents of silver were cast the sockets
of the sanctuary ,
and the sockets
of the vail;
an
hundred
sockets
of
the hundred
talents, a
talent for
a
socket
.
With
the 1,775
shekels of
silver
he made the
hooks for the posts
, overlaid their tops
, and supplied
bands
for
them.
And
of
the thousand
seven
hundred
seventy
and
five
shekels he made hooks for the pillars
, and
overlaid their chapiters
, and filleted
them.
The bronze
from
the wave
offering totaled
70
talents and
2
, 400
shekels.
And
the brass
of
the offering was
seventy
talents, and
two
thousand
and
four
hundred
shekels.
He used
it
to
make
the
bases
for
the entrance
to the Tent
of Meeting
, the bronze
altar and its
bronze
grating
, all the utensils
for
the altar,
And
therewith
he made
the sockets
to the door
of the
tabernacle
of
the
congregation
, and
the brazen
altar ,
and the
brazen
grate
for
it
, and
all the vessels
of
the altar,
the bases
for
the surrounding
courtyard
and its
gate, and all the tent
pegs
for
the tabernacle and its
surrounding
courtyard
.
And
the sockets
of
the court
round
about,
and the
sockets
of
the
court
gate, and all the pins
of
the tabernacle ,
and all
the
pins
of
the
court
round
about
.
