Then Moses and the children
of
Israel
sang this song to Yahweh,
and
said,
"
I will sing to Yahweh
, for he has
triumphed
gloriously:
The horse and his
rider he has thrown into the sea.
Then Moses and the Israelites
sang this song to the
LORD:
“
I will sing to the
LORD
, for He is
highly
exalted.
The horse and rider He has thrown into the sea.
Yah
is my strength and song, He has become my salvation :
This
is my God, and I will praise him ;
My father's
God, and I will exalt him.
The
LORD
is my strength and my
song, and
He has become my salvation .
He
is my God, and I will praise Him ,
my father’s
God, and I will exalt Him.
Yahweh
is a man
of
war.
Yahweh
is his name.
The
LORD
is a warrior,
the
LORD
is His name.
Pharaoh's
chariots and his
host
has
he cast into the sea; His chosen
captains
are sunk
in the Red Sea.

finest
of
his officers
are drowned
in the Red Sea.
The deeps
cover
them .
They went
down
into
the
depths
like a stone.

there

Your right hand, Yahweh
, is glorious
in power ,

, dashes
the enemy in
pieces
.
Your right hand, O
LORD
, is majestic
in power ;

shattered
the enemy.
In
the
greatness
of
your
excellency,
you overthrow
those
who
rise
up
against
you:
You send
forth
your wrath .
It consumes
them as
stubble.
You overthrew
Your
adversaries
by
Your
great
majesty.
You unleashed
Your burning
wrath ;
it consumed
them like
stubble.
With
the blast of your nostrils the waters were
piled up .
The floods
stood upright
as
a
heap.
The deeps
were
congealed in the heart of the sea.
At
the blast of Your nostrils the waters piled up ;
like
a
wall
the currents
stood firm;
the depths
congealed in the heart of the sea.
The enemy said
, '
I will pursue, I will overtake ,
I will divide the spoil.
My
desire
shall
be
satisfied
on them. I will draw my sword ,
my hand shall
destroy them. '
The enemy declared
, ‘
I will pursue, I will overtake .

I
will
gorge
myself
on them. I will draw my sword ;
my hand will
destroy them. ’
You blew with your wind.
The sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.
But
You blew with Your breath,
and
the sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.
Who is like you, Yahweh,
among
the
gods
? Who is like you ,
glorious
in holiness, Fearful
in
praises, doing
wonders?
Who among
the
gods
is like You, O
LORD
? Who is like You —majestic
in holiness, revered
with
praises, performing
wonders?
You stretched out your right hand .
The earth swallowed them.
You stretched out Your right hand ,
and
the earth swallowed them up
.
"You,
in
your
loving kindness,
have
led
the people that
you have redeemed .
You
have
guided
them
in
your strength to your holy habitation
.
With
loving devotion
You
will
lead
the people You have redeemed ;
with
Your strength You
will
guide
them
to Your holy dwelling
.
The peoples
have
heard.
They
tremble .
Pangs
have
taken
hold
on
the inhabitants
of Philistia.
The nations
will
hear
and
tremble ;
anguish
will
grip
the dwellers
of Philistia.
Then the chiefs of Edom were
dismayed .
Trembling takes
hold
of
the mighty
men
of Moab .
All
the
inhabitants
of
Canaan are
melted
away .
Then the chiefs of Edom will
be
dismayed ;
trembling will
seize
the leaders
of Moab ;
those
who
dwell
in
Canaan will
melt
away ,
Terror and dread falls
on them. By the greatness
of your arm they are
as still as a stone ;
Until your people pass over
, Yahweh
, Until the people pass
over
who
you have purchased
.
and
terror and dread will
fall
on them. By the power
of Your arm they will
be
as still as a stone until Your people pass by
, O
LORD
, until the people You have bought
pass
by
.
You shall
bring them in ,
and plant them in
the mountain of your inheritance ,
The place, Yahweh
, which
you have made
for yourself
to
dwell
in;
The sanctuary, Lord, which
your hands have established.
You will
bring them in and plant them on
the mountain of Your inheritance —
the place, O
LORD
, You have prepared
for Your
dwelling,
the sanctuary, O
Lord, Your hands have established.
Yahweh
shall
reign forever and ever ."
The
LORD
will
reign forever and ever !”
For the
horses of
Pharaoh
went
in
with
his
chariots and with
his
horsemen into the sea, and
Yahweh
brought back
the waters of the sea on
them ;
but the children
of
Israel
walked on
dry
land
in
the
midst
of
the sea.
For when
Pharaoh’s
horses ,
chariots ,
and horsemen went
into the sea, the
LORD
brought the waters of the sea back
over
them .
But the Israelites
walked through
the sea on
dry
ground
.
Miriam the prophetess, the
sister of
Aaron
, took a tambourine in her hand ;
and all the women went
out
after
her with tambourines and with
dances
.
Then
Miriam the prophetess, Aaron’s
sister, took a tambourine in her hand ,
and all the women followed
her with tambourines and dancing
.
Miriam answered
them ,
"
Sing to Yahweh
, for he has
triumphed
gloriously:
The horse and his
rider he has thrown into the sea. "
And
Miriam sang
back
to
them :
“
Sing to the
LORD
, for He is
highly
exalted;
the horse and rider He has thrown into the sea. ”
Moses led Israel onward
from the Red Sea, and they went out into the wilderness
of Shur ;
and
they
went
three days in the wilderness,
and
found
no
water.
Then
Moses led Israel from the Red Sea, and they went out into the Desert
of Shur .
For
three days they
walked
in the desert
without
finding
water.
When they came to Marah, they couldn't
drink from
the waters
of
Marah,
for
they
were
bitter. Therefore
the
name
of
it was called
Marah.
And
when they came to Marah, they could
not
drink the water
there
because
it
was
bitter. (That
is
why
it was named
Marah. )
The people murmured
against Moses, saying, "
What shall
we drink? "
So
the people grumbled
against Moses, saying, “
What are
we to
drink? ”
Then
he
cried to Yahweh.
Yahweh
shown
him a tree,
and he threw
it into the waters, and
the
waters
were made
sweet
. There he
made a statute and an ordinance for
them
, and there he tested them ;
And
Moses
cried out
to the
LORD,
and
the
LORD
showed
him a log.
And when
he cast
it into the waters, they
were sweetened
. There the
LORD
made for
them
a statute and an ordinance, and there He tested them ,
and
he
said
, "
If you will diligently
listen to the voice of Yahweh
your God, and will
do that
which
is right in his eyes, and will
pay attention to his commandments
, and keep all his statutes, I will put
none
of the diseases on
you,
which
I have
put
on the Egyptians ;
for I am Yahweh
who heals you. "
saying
, “
If you will listen carefully
to the voice of the
LORD
your God, and do what
is right in His eyes, and pay attention to His commands
, and keep all His statutes, then
I will not
bring
on
you
any
of the diseases I inflicted
on the Egyptians .
For I am the
LORD
who heals you. ”
They came to Elim, where there were twelve springs of water ,
and seventy palm trees :
and they encamped
there by the waters.
