Be imitators of God, therefore,

But among
you,
as
is
proper
among
the
saints,
there
must
not
be
even
a
hint
of
sexual immorality, or
of
any
kind
of
impurity
, or of
greed.
But sexual immorality, and
all
uncleanness
, or covetousness,
let
it
not
even
be
mentioned
among
you,
as
becomes
saints;
Nor should
there
be
obscenity
, foolish talk
, or
crude
joking
, which are out
of
character,
but rather thanksgiving
.
nor filthiness
, nor
foolish talking
, nor
jesting
, which are not
appropriate;
but rather giving
of
thanks
.
For
of
this you
can
be
sure :
No immoral ,
impure
, or
greedy
person (that
is
, an idolater )
, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of
God.
Know
this for
sure ,
that
no sexually
immoral person
, nor
unclean
person, nor
covetous
man,
who
is
an idolater, has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God.
Let no one deceive you with empty words ,
for because of such
things the wrath of God is
coming
on the sons
of disobedience.

Pay

attention,
then,
to
how you walk, not as unwise but as wise ,

Husbands, love your wives, just
as Christ loved the church

In
the
same
way,
husbands
ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.

so

Indeed,
no one
ever hated his own body,
but he
nourishes and cherishes it, just
as Christ
does the church.
For
no man
ever hated his own flesh;
but nourishes and cherishes it, even
as the
Lord

does the assembly;
For
we are members of His body.

flesh

bones
.

For this reason
a man will leave his father and mother and be united
to his wife ,
and
the two will become one flesh. ”

This mystery is profound
, but I am
speaking
about
Christ and the church
.
This mystery is great
, but I speak
concerning
Christ and of
the assembly
.
Nevertheless ,
each one
of you also
must love his wife as he
loves
himself ,
and the wife must
respect
her husband.
Nevertheless each of you must also
love his own
wife even
as himself ;
and let
the wife see
that
she
respects
her husband.
