Also
you --
being
dead in the
trespasses and the
sins,
And
you were
dead in your
trespasses and sins,
in which once
ye
did
walk according
to the age
of this world ,
according
to
the ruler of the authority
of the air, of
the spirit that
is now working
in the sons of disobedience ,
in which you
used
to
walk when
you
conformed
to the ways
of this world and
of
the ruler of the power
of the air, the spirit who
is now at
work
in the sons of disobedience .
among
whom
also
we
all did
walk
once
in
the
desires
of our
flesh
, doing
the wishes
of the
flesh and of
the
thoughts, and
were by nature children of wrath --
as
also
the
others,
All of us
also
lived
among
them
at
one
time
, fulfilling
the cravings
of our
flesh and indulging
its
desires
and
thoughts .
Like
the
rest
, we
were by nature children of wrath .
and
God,
being
rich
in
kindness,
because of His great love with
which
He
loved
us,
But
because of His great love for
us, God,
who
is
rich
in
mercy,
even being
dead in the
trespasses ,
did
make
us
to
live
together
with
the
Christ,
(
by grace ye
are
having
been saved ,)
made
us
alive
with
Christ
even when
we
were
dead in our
trespasses .
It
is
by grace you
have
been saved !
and did
raise
`
us '
up together,
and did
seat
`
us '
together
in the heavenly `places'
in Christ Jesus,
And God
raised
us up with
Christ
and seated
us with
Him
in the heavenly realms
in Christ Jesus,
that He
might
show,
in the ages
that
are
coming ,
the exceeding
riches of His grace in
kindness toward
us in Christ Jesus ,
in
order
that in the coming ages
He
might
display
the surpassing
riches of His grace ,
demonstrated
by
His
kindness to
us in Christ Jesus .
for by grace ye
are
having
been saved ,
through faith, and this not of
you
--
of
God
the gift,
For it
is
by grace you
have
been saved through faith, and this not from
yourselves;
it
is
the gift of
God
,
not of
works, that no one may
boast ;
not by
works, so
that no one can
boast .
for of
Him
we are workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God did
before
prepare,
that
in them
we
may
walk
.
For we are God’s
workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do
good works, which God prepared
in advance
as
our
way
of
life
.
Wherefore,
remember ,
that ye
`were'
once
the
nations
in the flesh ,
who
are
called Uncircumcision
by that
called Circumcision in the flesh
made
by hands ,
Therefore
remember that formerly
you
who
are
Gentiles
in the flesh and
called uncircumcised
by the
so-
called circumcision (that
done
in the body
by human
hands )—
that ye
were
at that time apart
from Christ, having
been
alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having
no
hope ,
and without God ,
in the world ;
remember
that at that time you
were
separate
from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, without
hope and without God in the world .
and
now ,
in Christ Jesus ,
ye
being
once afar
off
became
nigh
in
the blood of the
Christ ,
But
now in Christ Jesus you
who
once were
far
away
have
been
brought
near
through
the blood of Christ .
for he is our peace, who did
make
both
one ,
and the middle
wall of the
enclosure
did
break
down,
For He Himself
is our peace, who has
made
the
two
one and has
torn
down
the dividing
wall of hostility
the
enmity
in his flesh ,
the law of the
commands
in
ordinances
having
done
away,
that
the
two
he might
create in himself into
one new man, making peace ,
by
abolishing
in His flesh the law of commandments
and
decrees.
He did
this
to
create in Himself one new man out
of
the
two
, thus
making peace
and might
reconcile
both in one body to
God
through the cross, having
slain
the
enmity
in
it,
and reconciling
both of
them
to
God
in one body through the cross, by
which
He
extinguished
their
hostility.
and
having
come,
he did
proclaim
good
news
--
peace to you --
the
far -off
and the
nigh,
He came
and
preached
peace to you who
were
far away
and peace
to
those
who
were
near.
because
through him we have the
access --
we
both
--
in
one
Spirit
unto
the Father.
For
through Him we both
have access to
the Father by
one
Spirit
.
Then,
therefore ,
ye
are no more
strangers and foreigners, but fellow -
citizens of
the saints ,
and of the
household of
God
,
Therefore you
are no longer
strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with
the saints and members
of God’s
household,
being
built upon
the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus
Christ himself being
chief
corner-`stone',
built on
the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with
Christ Jesus
Himself as
the
cornerstone.
in whom
all
the building fitly
framed
together doth
increase
to
an
holy sanctuary
in the Lord ,
In Him
the whole
building is
fitted
together and
grows
into
a
holy temple
in the Lord .
in whom
also
ye
are builded
together ,
for
a habitation
of
God in the
Spirit.
And
in Him
you
too
are being
built
together into
a dwelling
place
for
God in His
Spirit.
