And you `did
he make
alive

ye
were dead through

trespasses and sins ,
And you hath
he quickened
, who
were dead in
trespasses and sins ;
wherein ye once
walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the powers
of the air, of
the spirit that now worketh in the sons
of disobedience ;
Wherein in
time
past
ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power
of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children
of disobedience :
among whom we
also all once
lived
in the lust
of our flesh, doing
the desires of the flesh and of the mind ,
and were by nature children of wrath, even as the
rest:--
Among whom also we
all had
our
conversation
in times
past
in
the lusts
of our flesh, fulfilling
the desires of the flesh and of the mind ;
and were by nature the
children of wrath, even as others.
but God, being
rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
But God, who

even when we were dead through
our

, made
us alive
together with Christ (by grace have
ye been
saved) ,
Even when we were dead in
sins

quickened

in the
heavenly `
places ',
in Christ Jesus:
And hath
raised us up together

that in the ages to come he might show
the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in
Christ Jesus :

for by grace have

saved through faith; and that not of yourselves ,

the gift of God ;

ye are no more strangers and sojourners

fellow-citizens

Jesus himself being the chief corner stone;

fitly framed together ,
groweth into

holy temple in the Lord ;
In whom all

habitation of God in
the Spirit.
