understand
this :
In the last days terrible
times will
come.
For men shall
be lovers of their
own
selves
, covetous
, boasters
, proud
, blasphemers
, disobedient to parents, unthankful
, unholy,
For men will
be lovers of themselves
, lovers
of
money
, boastful
, arrogant
, abusive
, disobedient to their
parents, ungrateful
, unholy,
Without
natural
affection
, trucebreakers
, false
accusers
, incontinent
, fierce
, despisers
of those
that
are
good,
unloving
, unforgiving
, slanderous
, without
self-control
, brutal
, without
love
of good,
Traitors
, heady
, highminded
, lovers of pleasures
more
than lovers of God ;
traitorous
, reckless
, conceited
, lovers of pleasure
rather
than lovers of God ,
Having a form of godliness ,
but denying the
power thereof:
from
such
turn away .
having a form of godliness but denying its
power .
Turn away from
such
as
these!
For
of
this
sort
are
they which
creep
into houses,
and lead
captive
silly
women laden
with sins ,
led away
with
divers
lusts
,
They are
the
kind
who
worm
their
way
into households
and captivate
vulnerable
women who
are
weighed
down
with sins and
led astray
by
various
passions
,
Ever
learning ,
and
never able to come to the
knowledge of the truth.
who
are
always
learning but
never able to come to a
knowledge of the truth.
Now
as Jannes and Jambres withstood
Moses, so do
these
also resist
the truth :
men
of
corrupt
minds,
reprobate
concerning
the faith.
Just
as Jannes and Jambres opposed
Moses, so also these
men
oppose
the truth .
They
are
depraved
in
mind
and
disqualified
from
the faith.
But they shall
proceed
no
further :
for their folly shall
be manifest
unto
all
men,
as
their's
also
was
.
But they will
not
advance
much
further .
For just
like
Jannes
and
Jambres,
their folly will
be plain
to
everyone
.
But
thou
hast
fully
known
my doctrine
, manner
of
life
, purpose, faith, longsuffering
, charity
, patience
,
You,
however,
have
observed
my teaching
, my
conduct
, my
purpose, my
faith, my
patience
, my
love
, my
perseverance
,
Persecutions, afflictions,
which
came unto
me at
Antioch, at
Iconium, at
Lystra ;
what persecutions I endured :
but
out
of
them
all
the Lord delivered
me.

sufferings
that
came upon

Lystra .
What persecutions I endured !
Yet
the Lord rescued
me from
all
of
them
.
Yea
, and
all that
will
live godly in Christ Jesus shall
suffer
persecution.
Indeed
, all who
desire
to
live godly lives
in Christ Jesus will
be
persecuted,
But
evil men and seducers
shall
wax
worse
and
worse, deceiving ,
and being deceived.
while
evil men and imposters
go
from
bad
to
worse, deceiving and being deceived.
But continue thou
in the things which
thou
hast
learned and hast
been
assured
of
, knowing
of
whom thou
hast
learned them ;
But as
for
you,
continue in the things you
have
learned and firmly
believed
, since
you
know
from
whom you
have
learned them .
And
that
from a
child
thou
hast
known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee
wise unto
salvation through faith which
is
in Christ Jesus.
From infancy
you
have
known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you
wise for
salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
All scripture is given

inspiration
of
God ,
and is profitable
for doctrine
, for reproof
, for correction, for instruction
in righteousness :
All Scripture is God -breathed
and is useful
for instruction
, for conviction
, for correction, and
for training
in righteousness ,
That the man of God may be perfect
, throughly
furnished
unto
all
good works
.
so
that the man of God may be complete
, fully
equipped
for
every
good work
.
