therefore, my child
, be strengthened
in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
Thou
therefore, my son
, be strong
in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
The things which
you
have
heard from
me among many witnesses, commit
the same to faithful men, who will
be able to teach others also.
And
the things that
thou
hast
heard of
me among many witnesses, the same commit
thou
to faithful men, who shall
be able to teach others also.
You
therefore must
endure hardship
, as a good soldier of Christ
Jesus.
Thou
therefore endure hardness
, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ
.
No soldier
on
service
entangles
himself in
the affairs of life ,
that he may please him who enrolled
him as
a soldier.
No man
that
warreth
entangleth
himself with
the affairs of this
life ;
that he may please him who hath
chosen
him to
be
a soldier.
Also,
if anyone
competes
in
athletics
, he isn't
crowned unless
he has
competed
by
the
rules
.
And
if a
man
also
strive
for
masteries
, yet
is
he not
crowned ,
except
he strive
lawfully
.
The farmers
who
labor
must be the
first to
get
a
share
of the crops
.
The husbandman
that
laboureth
must be first partaker
of the fruits
.
Consider what I say ,
and may
the Lord give you
understanding in all things.

risen

the

But God's
word isn't
chained
.

sake

may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

saying
is faithful: For if we died

If we are
faithless
, He remains
faithful .
He can't
deny himself.
If we believe
not
, yet
he abideth
faithful :
he cannot
deny himself.
Remind
them
of these things, charging them in
the
sight
of
the Lord ,
that they don't
argue
about words ,
to no profit, to the subverting of those
who
hear
.
Of these things put
them
in
remembrance
, charging them before
the Lord that they strive
not
about words to no profit, but
to the subverting of the
hearers
.
Give
diligence
to present
yourself
approved by
God, a workman who
doesn't
need
to be ashamed, properly
handling
the Word of Truth.
Study
to shew
thyself
approved unto
God, a workman that
needeth
not
to be ashamed, rightly
dividing
the word of truth.
But shun empty
chatter,
for they will proceed
further
in
ungodliness ,
But shun profane
and
vain
babblings:
for they will increase
unto
more
ungodliness .
and their word will consume
like
gangrene,
of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
And their word will eat
as
doth
a
canker:
of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
men
who have
erred
concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already
past ,
and overthrowing
the faith of some.

firm
foundation stands

depart from iniquity
.
Now
in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of clay.
Some are
for
honor
, and some for
dishonor
.

If anyone
therefore purges
himself from these, he will
be a vessel for

Flee from
youthful lusts ;

servant must not quarrel,
but be gentle towards
all, able
to teach, patient,
And
the servant of
the
Lord
must not strive;
but be gentle unto
all men
, apt
to teach, patient,
in gentleness
correcting
those who
oppose him:
perhaps
God may
give them repentance leading
to a
full
knowledge
of the truth ,
In meekness
instructing
those that
oppose themselves;
if
God peradventure
will
give them repentance to the
acknowledging
of the truth ;
and they may recover themselves out of the devil's
snare, having
been
taken captive by him to
his will.
And that
they may recover themselves out of the snare of
the
devil
, who
are
taken captive by him at
his will.
