The elder, To the chosen lady and her children, whom I love in the
truth —
and not I alone
, but also all who know the truth —
The elder, to the chosen lady and her children, whom I love in truth ;
and not I only
, but also all those
who know the truth ;
because
of
the truth
that
abides
in us and will be with us forever:
for
the truth's
sake,
which
remains
in us ,
and it
will be with us forever:
Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, will
be
with
us
in truth and love.
Grace, mercy, and peace will
be
with
us,
from God the Father ,
and from the
Lord
Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
I was
overjoyed
to
find
some of your children walking in the
truth, just
as the Father has
commanded
us
.
I rejoice
greatly
that
I
have
found
some of your children walking in truth, even
as we
have
been
commanded
by
the Father.
And
now I urge
you, dear lady —
not as a new commandment to
you
, but one
we have
had from the beginning —
that we love one another.
Now I beg
you, dear lady ,
not as though
I
wrote
to
you
a new commandment, but that
which
we had from the beginning ,
that we love one another.
And
this is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the very
commandment you have
heard from the beginning, that you must
walk in love
.
This is love, that we should
walk according to his commandments. This is the commandment ,
even
as
you heard from the beginning, that you should
walk in it
.
For many deceivers have gone out into the world, refusing
to
confess the
coming
of
Jesus Christ in the flesh. Any
such
person
is the deceiver and the antichrist.
For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those
who
don't
confess that
Jesus Christ came
in the flesh. This
is the deceiver and the Antichrist.
Watch yourselves, so
that you
do
not
lose what
we have worked
for
, but that you
may
be
fully
rewarded
.
Watch yourselves, that we
don't
lose the
things
which
we have accomplished
, but that we
receive
a
full
reward
.
Anyone
who
runs
ahead
without
remaining
in the teaching of Christ does
not
have God. Whoever
remains in His
teaching has both the Father and the Son.
Whoever
transgresses
and
doesn't
remain
in the teaching of Christ ,
doesn't
have God. He
who
remains in the
teaching ,
the
same
has both the Father and the Son.
If anyone comes to you but
does
not
bring this teaching, do
not
receive him into your home
or
even
greet
him .
If anyone comes to you ,
and
doesn't
bring this teaching, don't
receive him into your house,
and
don't
welcome
him ,
Whoever
greets
such
a
person
shares
in his evil deeds
.
for
he
who
welcomes
him
participates
in his evil works
.
I
have
many things to write to you, but
I would
prefer
not
to do so with paper and ink .
Instead
, I hope to come and speak with
you
face to face, so
that our joy may be complete
.
Having
many things to write to you, I don't
want
to do so with paper and ink, but
I hope to come to
you,
and to
speak face to face, that our joy may be made
full
.

you greetings
.
The children of your chosen
sister greet
