And
working
together
also
we call
upon
`
you '
that
ye
receive
not in vain the
grace
of
God
--
As
God’s
fellow
workers,
then,
we urge
you not to
receive
God’s
grace
in vain .
for He saith,
`
In an
acceptable
time I did
hear
thee
, and in a
day of salvation I did
help
thee,
lo
, now `
is '
a
well-accepted
time; lo,
now ,
a
day of salvation ,'
--
For He says:
“
In the
time of
favor
I heard
you
, and in the
day of salvation I helped
you.”
Behold
, now is the
time of
favor
; now is
the
day of salvation !
in nothing
giving
any
cause
of
offence
, that the
ministration
may
be
not
blamed,
We
put
no
obstacle
in anyone’s
way
, so
that no
one
can
discredit
our
ministry.
but
in
everything
recommending
ourselves
as God's
ministrants;
in much
patience,
in tribulations,
in necessities
, in
distresses
,
Rather,
as servants
of
God
we
commend
ourselves
in every
way:
in great
endurance;
in troubles
, hardships
, and
calamities;
in stripes
, in
imprisonments, in
insurrections,
in
labours,
in watchings
, in
fastings
,
in beatings
, imprisonments, and
riots;
in labor
, sleepless
nights
, and
hunger;
in pureness
, in
knowledge, in
long-suffering
, in
kindness ,
in the Holy Spirit ,
in love unfeigned,
in purity
, knowledge, patience
, and
kindness ;
in the Holy Spirit and
in sincere
love ;
in the
word
of
truth,
in the power of God ,
through
the armour
of the
righteousness ,
on
the right and on
the left ,
in truthful
speech
and
in the power of God ;
with
the weapons
of righteousness in
the right hand
and in
the left ;
through glory and dishonour
, through
evil
report
and good
report,
as leading
astray
, and
true
;
through glory and dishonor
, slander
and praise;
viewed
as imposters
, yet
genuine
;
as unknown, and
recognized
; as
dying, and lo,
we live; as
chastened
, and
not put
to
death
;
as unknown, yet
well-known
; dying, and yet
we live on
; punished
, yet
not killed
;
as
sorrowful, and
always rejoicing; as
poor, and
making many rich; as
having nothing, and possessing all
things
.
sorrowful, yet
always rejoicing; poor, yet
making many rich; having nothing, and yet
possessing everything
.
Our
mouth
hath
been
open
unto
you, O
Corinthians ,
our heart
hath
been
enlarged!
We
have
spoken
freely
to
you, Corinthians .
Our hearts
are
open
wide.
ye
are
not straitened
in
us
, and
ye
are
straitened
in
your
`own'
bowels
,
It
is
not our
affection
, but
yours
, that
is
restrained.
and
`
as '
a recompense
of
the
same
kind
, (
as to
children I
say
`it',)
be
ye
enlarged
--
also ye!
As a fair
exchange
, I
ask
you
as my
children :
Open
wide
your
hearts
also .
Become
not yoked with others
--
unbelievers ,
for what partaking
`is
there'
to
righteousness and
lawlessness
?
Do
not be
unequally
yoked with unbelievers .
For what partnership
can
righteousness have
with
wickedness
? Or
what
fellowship
does
light
have
with
darkness?
and
what fellowship
to
light
with
darkness?
and
what
concord
to
Christ with
Belial? or what part
to
a believer with an unbeliever?
What harmony
is
there
between
Christ and
Belial? Or what does
a believer have
in
common
with an unbeliever?
and
what agreement to
the sanctuary
of God with
idols? for ye
are a
sanctuary
of the living God ,
according
as God said --
`
I will dwell in
them ,
and will
walk among `
them '
, and I will be their God, and they shall
be My people ,
What agreement can
exist
between
the temple
of God and
idols? For we
are the
temple
of the living God .
As God has
said :
“
I will dwell with
them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will
be My people .”
wherefore,
come ye
forth
out of
the
midst
of
them ,
and be separated
, saith
the Lord ,
and
an
unclean thing do
not
touch
, and I --
I
will receive you ,
“Therefore
come out from
among
them and be separate
, says
the Lord .
Touch
no
unclean thing, and I will receive you .”
and I will be to
you
for
a Father, and ye
--
ye
shall
be to
Me
for
sons and daughters, saith
the Lord Almighty. '
And :
“
I will be a Father to
you
, and you
will
be My
sons and daughters, says
the Lord Almighty. ”
