Therefore,
since
Christ suffered in His
body
, arm
yourselves
with the same resolve
, because anyone
who has
suffered
in his
body
is
done with sin .
Christ ,
then,
having
suffered for
us
in the
flesh
, ye
also
with the same mind
arm
yourselves
, because he
who did
suffer
in the
flesh
hath
done with sin ,
Consequently,
he
does
not
live
out
his
remaining
time
on
earth
for
human
passions
, but for
the will of God .
no
more
in
the
desires
of
men
, but in
the will of God ,
to
live
the
rest
of
the
time
in
the
flesh;
For you
have
spent
enough
time
in
the past carrying
out
the same
desires
as
the Gentiles:
living
in debauchery
, lust
, drunkenness
, orgies
, carousing
, and detestable
idolatry.

walked

indiscretion

they
heap
abuse
on
you.

of dissoluteness

evil,
But
they
will
have
to
give an account to Him who is ready to judge the
living and the
dead .

shall

That

why
the
gospel
was
preached
even
to those
who
are
now
dead, so
that they might
be judged as
men in the flesh, but
live according to God in the spirit.

proclaimed

may
live according to God in the spirit.
The
end
of all things is
near.
Therefore
be clear
-minded and sober
, so
that
you
can
pray.

of all things the
end
hath
come
nigh;
be sober
-minded ,
then,
and watch
unto
the
prayers
,
Above
all, love
one another deeply
, because love covers
over
a multitude of sins .
and,
before
all things
, to
one another having
the
earnest
love
, because the
love shall
cover
a multitude of sins ;
Show
hospitality
to one another without complaining.

without murmuring;
As good stewards of the manifold grace of God ,
each
of
you
should
use
whatever
gift
he
has
received
to
serve
one
another.

it,
as

If anyone
speaks,
he
should
speak as one
conveying
the
words
of God .
If anyone
serves,
he
should
serve
with
the strength
God provides,

that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be
the glory and the power forever

ever

Beloved, do
not be
surprised
at the fiery trial
that has
come
upon
you, as though
something
strange were happening to you .
Beloved, think
it
not strange
at the fiery suffering
among
you
that is
coming
to
try
you, as if
a
strange thing
were happening to you ,
But rejoice
that
you
share
in
the sufferings of Christ, so
that you
may
be
overjoyed
at
the revelation of His glory .
but ,
according
as
ye
have
fellowship
with
the sufferings of the
Christ, rejoice
ye,
that also
in
the revelation of his glory ye
may
rejoice
--
exulting;
If you
are
insulted
for
the name of Christ ,
you
are blessed
, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests
on
you .
if ye
be
reproached
in
the name of Christ --
happy
`
are ye'
, because the Spirit of glory and of God upon
you doth
rest;
in
regard,
indeed,
to
them,
he
is
evil-spoken
of,
and
in
regard
to
you,
he
is
glorified;
Indeed,
none of you should
suffer as a murderer or thief or wrongdoer
, or even
as a
meddler.
for
let
none of you suffer as a murderer ,
or thief ,
or evil-doer
, or as an
inspector
into
other
men's
matters;
But
if you
suffer
as a Christian, do
not be ashamed ,
but
glorify God that
you
bear
that
name.
and
if as a Christian, let
him
not be ashamed ;
and
let
him
glorify God in
this
respect;
For
it is time for
judgment to
begin
with
the family
of God ;
and if it
begins
with
us, what will
the outcome
be
for
those who
disobey
the gospel
of God?
because
it is the
time of
the
beginning
of
the
judgment from
the house
of God ,
and if first
from
us, what the end
of
those disobedient
to
the good
news
of God?
And ,
“
If it
is
hard
for
the righteous to
be
saved, what
will
become
of
the ungodly and the
sinner? ”
And if the righteous man
is
scarcely
saved, the ungodly and sinner --
where
shall
he
appear
?
So then,
those who
suffer
according to God’s
will should
entrust
their
souls
to their
faithful
Creator and
continue
to
do
good.
so that
also
those suffering
according to the
will of
god,
as
to a
stedfast
Creator ,
let
them
commit
their
own
souls
in
good doing
.
