Therefore,
since
Christ suffered in His
body
, arm yourselves with the same resolve,
because
anyone
who has suffered in his
body
is
done
with
sin .
Forasmuch
then
as
Christ suffered for
us
in the
flesh
, arm yourselves also
with the same mind;
for
he
who has suffered in the
flesh
has
ceased
from
sin ;
Consequently,
he
does
not
live out
his
remaining
time on
earth
for human
passions
, but for the will of God.
that
you
no
longer
should
live the
rest
of
your
time in
the
flesh
for the
lusts
of
men
, but for the will of God.
For you
have spent enough time
in
the
past carrying
out
the same
desires
as
the Gentiles :
living
in debauchery
, lust
, drunkenness
, orgies, carousing
, and detestable
idolatry
.
For we
have spent enough of
our
past time
doing
the desire
of
the Gentiles ,
and
having
walked
in lewdness
, lusts
, drunken
binges
, orgies, carousings
, and abominable
idolatries
.
Because
of
this,
they consider
it strange of
you not
to
plunge
with them into the same flood
of reckless
indiscretion
, and
they
heap
abuse
on
you.
They think
it is
strange that
you don't
run
with them into the same excess
of riot
, blaspheming:
But
they
will have
to
give an
account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.

is
why
the gospel was
preached even to those
who
are
now
dead, so
that they might be judged as men in the flesh, but live according
to God in the spirit.
For
to
this
end
was

The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear
- minded
and sober ,
so
that
you
can
pray
.

.
As good stewards of the manifold
grace of God ,
each
of
you
should
use
whatever
gift
he
has
received
to
serve
one
another
.
According
as each
has
received
a
gift,
be
ministering
it
among
yourselves,
as
good stewards of the grace of God in
its
various
forms
.
If anyone
speaks, he
should
speak
as one
conveying
the
words
of God. If anyone
serves, he
should
serve
with
the strength God provides
, so
that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be
the glory and the power
forever and ever. Amen.
If any
man
speaks, let
it
be
as it
were
oracles
of God. If any
man
serves, let
it
be
as
of
the strength which
God supplies
, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong
the glory and the dominion
forever and ever. Amen.
Beloved, do
not
be surprised
at the fiery trial that
has come upon you, as though something
strange were
happening
to you.
Beloved, don't
be astonished
at the fiery trial which
has come upon you, to
test
you,
as though a
strange thing
happened
to you.
But rejoice
that
you share
in
the
sufferings
of Christ
, so
that you
may
be
overjoyed
at the revelation of His glory.
But because
you are
partakers
of Christ's
sufferings
, rejoice;
that at the revelation of his glory also
you
may
rejoice
with
exceeding
joy
.
If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you
are
blessed ,
because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.
If you are insulted for the name of Christ, blessed are
you;
because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. On
their
part
he
is
blasphemed,
but
on
your
part
he
is
glorified.
Indeed,
none of you should
suffer as a murderer or thief or wrongdoer
, or even
as a meddler.
For
let
none of you suffer as a murderer ,

thief ,
or an
evil
doer
, or as a meddler in
other
men's
matters
.
But if you suffer
as
a Christian, do
not be ashamed ,
but glorify God that
you
bear
that
name
.
But if one
of
you suffers
for
being
a Christian, let
him
not be ashamed ;
but let
him
glorify God in
this
matter
.
For it
is
time for judgment to begin with
the family
of God ;
and
if it begins with us, what will the
outcome
be
for
those who disobey
the gospel of God?
For the
time has
come
for judgment to begin at
the house
of God .
If it begins first
with us, what will happen
to
those who don't
obey
the Gospel of God?
And,
“
If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become
of
the ungodly and the sinner? ”
"
If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will happen

So
then,
those
who suffer according to God’s
will should
entrust their souls to their
faithful Creator and
continue
to
do
good
.
Therefore
let
them
also
who suffer according to the
will of
God
in
doing
good
entrust their souls to him,
as
to
a
faithful Creator.
