Berean Standard Bible
And
I,
brethren
, was
not able
to
speak
to
you as to
spiritual, but as to
fleshly
--
as to
babes
in Christ ;
Brothers
, I
could
not address
you as spiritual, but as worldly—
as infants
in Christ .
with
milk
I fed
you, and
not with
meat
, for ye
were not yet able
, but
not
even
yet
are ye
now
able
,
I gave
you milk
, not solid
food
, for you
were not yet ready
for
solid
food.
In
fact
, you
are still
not
ready
,
for yet
ye
are fleshly,
for where
`
there is '
among you envying
, and
strife,
and
divisions,
are ye
not fleshly,
and
in the manner
of men
do
walk
?
for you
are still
worldly.
For since
there is jealousy
and
dissension
among you, are you
not worldly?
Are
you
not
walking
in the way
of man
?
for when one may
say
, `
I ,
indeed,
am
of
Paul ;'
and another, `
I --
of
Apollos ;'
are ye
not fleshly
?
For when one of
you
says
, “
I follow
Paul ,”
and another, “
I follow
Apollos ,”
are you
not mere
men
?
Who,
then ,
is Paul,
and
who
Apollos ,
but
ministrants
through whom ye
did
believe
, and
to
each
as the Lord gave?
What
then is Apollos ?
And
what
is
Paul?
They
are
servants
through whom you
believed
, as the Lord has
assigned
to
each
his
role.
I planted ,
Apollos watered, but God was
giving
growth;
I planted the
seed
and
Apollos watered it
, but God made
it
grow.
so that
neither is
he who is
planting
anything,
nor he who is watering
, but He
who
is
giving
growth
--
God ;
So neither he who plants
nor he who waters
is anything
, but only
God ,
who
makes
things
grow.
and
he who is
planting
and he who is
watering
are one, and each his
own
reward
shall
receive,
according to his own labour,
He who plants
and he who waters
are one in
purpose
, and each will
be
rewarded
according to his own labor.
for of
God
we are fellow -workmen
; God's
tillage
, God's
building ye
are
.
For we are God’s
fellow workers
; you
are
God’s
field
, God’s
building.
According
to
the grace of
God that
was
given to
me, as
a
wise
master-builder,
a
foundation
I have
laid, and another
doth
build
on `
it ',
By
the grace God has
given me, I laid a
foundation
as
an
expert
builder
, and someone
else
is
building
on it .
But
each
one
must
be
careful
how
he
builds.
for other
foundation
no one is
able
to
lay except
that
which
is
laid, which is Jesus the
Christ ;
For no one can
lay a
foundation
other
than
the
one
already
laid, which is Jesus Christ .
and
if any
one
doth
build
upon
this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw --
If anyone
builds
on
this foundation using
gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or
straw ,
of
each
the
work
shall
become
manifest
, for
the day shall
declare
`
it ',
because
in
fire
it is
revealed, and the work
of
each,
what
kind
it
is,
the
fire shall
prove ;
his
workmanship
will
be
evident
, because
the Day will
bring
it to
light.
It will
be
revealed with
fire
, and the fire will
prove the
quality
of
each
man’s
work.
if of
any
one
the
work
doth
remain
that
he built on
`it'
, a
wage
he shall
receive ;
If what
he has
built survives
, he will
receive a
reward.
if of
any
the
work
is burned up, he shall
suffer loss ;
and
himself shall
be saved, but so
as through fire
.
If it
is burned up, he will
suffer loss .
He
himself will
be saved, but only
as if
through the
flames
.
have
ye
not known
that ye
are a
sanctuary
of
God
, and the
Spirit of
God
doth
dwell
in you?
Do
you
not know
that you
yourselves
are God’s
temple
, and that
God’s
Spirit dwells
in you?
if any
one
the
sanctuary
of
God
doth
waste
, him
shall
God waste
; for the
sanctuary
of
God
is holy, the
which
ye
are.
If anyone
destroys
God’s
temple
, God will
destroy
him
; for God’s
temple
is holy, and
you
are that
temple
.
Let no one deceive himself ;
if any one
doth
seem
to
be
wise
among
you in this age --
let
him
become a fool, that he may become wise ,
Let no one deceive himself .
If any of
you thinks
he
is
wise
in this age ,
he
should
become a fool, so
that he may become wise .
for the wisdom of this world is foolishness with
God,
for
it hath
been
written,
`Who
is taking
the wise in their craftiness ;'
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in
God’s
sight.
As
it is written:
“He
catches
the wise in their craftiness .”
and again, `
The Lord doth
know
the reasonings
of the wise ,
that
they
are vain
. '
And again, “
The Lord knows
that
the thoughts
of the wise are futile
. ”
So
then
, let
no
one
glory
in men ,
for
all things are yours,
Therefore
, stop
boasting
in men .
All things are yours,
whether Paul ,
or Apollos ,
or Cephas ,
or the world ,
or life ,
or death ,
or things
present ,
or things
about
to
be
--
all are
yours
,
whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the
present or the
future.
All of
them
belong
to
you
,
and ye
`are'
Christ's
, and Christ `is'
God's
.
and you
belong
to
Christ
, and Christ belongs
to
God
.
