And concerning the collection that `is' for the saints, as I directed to the assemblies of Galatia , so also ye -- do ye;
Now about the collection for the saints, you are to do as I directed the churches of Galatia :
on every first ` day ' of the week, let each one of you lay by him , treasuring up whatever he may have prospered , that when I may come then collections may not be made;
On the first day of every week, each of you should set aside a portion of his income , saving it up, so that when I come no collections will be needed.
and whenever I may come, whomsoever ye may approve , through letters , these I will send to carry your favour to Jerusalem ;
Then , on my arrival , I will send letters with those you recommend to carry your gift to Jerusalem .
and if it be meet for me also to go, with me they shall go .
And if it is advisable for me to go also , they can travel with me.
And I will come unto you , when I pass through Macedonia -- for Macedonia I do pass through --
After I go through Macedonia, however, I will come to you ; for I will be going through Macedonia.
and with you, it may be, I will abide , or even winter, that ye may send me forward whithersoever I go ,
Perhaps I will stay with you awhile , or even spend the winter, so that you can help me on my journey, wherever I go .
for I do not wish to see you now in the passing , but I hope to remain a certain time with you, if the Lord may permit;
For I do not want to see you now only in passing ; I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord permits.
and I will remain in Ephesus till the Pentecost,
But I will stay in Ephesus until Pentecost,
for a door to me hath been opened -- great and effectual -- and withstanders `are' many.
because a great door for effective work has opened to me , even though many oppose me .
And if Timotheus may come , see that he may become without fear with you, for the work of the Lord he doth work , even as I ,
If Timothy comes , see to it that he has nothing to fear while he is with you, for he is doing the work of the Lord, just as I am.
no one, then, may despise him ; and send ye him forward in peace , that he may come to me, for I expect him with the brethren;
No one, then, should treat him with contempt. Send him on his way in peace so that he can return to me, for I am expecting him along with the brothers.
and concerning Apollos our brother , much I did entreat him that he may come unto you with the brethren, and it was not at all `his' will that he may come now, and he will come when he may find convenient .
Now about our brother Apollos: I strongly urged him to go to you with the brothers. He was not at all inclined to go now, but he will go when he has the opportunity .
Watch ye, stand in the faith ; be men , be strong ;
Be on the alert. Stand firm in the faith . Be men of courage. Be strong .
let all your things be done in love.
Do everything in love.
And I entreat you , brethren, ye have known the household of Stephanas, that it is the first -fruit of Achaia, and to the ministration to the saints they did set themselves --
You know that Stephanas and his household were the first converts in Achaia, and they have devoted themselves to the service of the saints . Now I urge you, brothers,
that ye also be subject to such, and to every one who is working with `us' and labouring;
to submit to such as these , and to every fellow worker and laborer.
and I rejoice over the presence of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus, because the lack of you did these fill up;
I am glad that Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus have arrived , because they have supplied what was lacking from you .
for they did refresh my spirit and yours ; acknowledge ye , therefore, those who `are' such.
For they refreshed my spirit and yours as well. Show your appreciation , therefore, to such men .
Salute you do the assemblies of Asia ; salute you much in the Lord do Aquilas and Priscilla , with the assembly in their house ;
The churches in the province of Asia send you greetings. Aquila and Prisca greet you warmly in the Lord, and so does the church that meets at their house .
salute you do all the brethren; salute ye one another in an holy kiss.
All the brothers here send you greetings. Greet one another with a holy kiss.
The salutation of `me' Paul with my hand ;
This greeting is in my own hand —Paul.
if any one doth not love the Lord Jesus Christ -- let him be anathema! The Lord hath come!
If anyone does not love the Lord , let him be under a curse. Come , O Lord !
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ `is' with you ;
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you .
my love `is' with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.
My love be with all of you in Christ Jesus. Amen.
