the heads of families,
the commanders
of thousands and of hundreds, and their officers who served the king in every
matter concerning
the divisions on
rotating
military
duty
each
month throughout the year .

were
24,000
men
in
each
division :
Now
the children
of Israel
after
their
number,
the heads of fathers'
[houses]
and
the captains
of thousands and of hundreds, and their officers who served the king ,
in any
matter of
the divisions which
came
in
and
went
out
month by
month
throughout all
the months
of
the
year --of
every
division were
twenty-four
thousand.
Jashobeam
son
of
Zabdiel
was
in
charge
of
the first division ,
which
was
assigned
the first month .
There
were
24,000
men
in his division.
Over
the first division for
the first month was
Jashobeam
the
son
of
Zabdiel:
and
in his division were
twenty-four
thousand
.
He was a
descendant
of Perez and
chief of all the army
commanders
for the first month.

of

the

the
host

Dodai

Ahohite
was
in
charge
of
the division for
the second month, and Mikloth was
the leader.
There
were
24,000
men
in his division.
Over
the division of

and

and
in his division were

thousand
.
The third army
commander,
as
chief
for the third month ,
was Benaiah son of Jehoiada the priest .
There
were

in his division.

the
host

the
son of Jehoiada the priest, chief:

.
This Benaiah was mighty among
the Thirty and was
over the Thirty ,
and his
son
Ammizabad
was
in
charge
of his division.
This is
that

mighty man

the thirty ,

.
The fourth ,

wrath

the Chronicles of King David.
